Talking Chris Brooking's 50 record gets thrashed

Its taken a long time but finally my dad got round to taking chris brooking's 50 record. it was said that this would be hard to do but in fact my dad smashed it out of all recognition. The new record is 1.42.36 over a four minute beating of the old record (1.46.49) .
this is also a national vets record for age 56 beating the previous record of 1.45.32 by almost 3 minutes
it is also my dads personal best done at 56, i only wish i could do rides like that at my age never mind his age
Nick Jackson also did a good ride posting a new personal best with a 1.49, unfortunately i had to marshal so we didnt get a new team record but i would only have needed to do a 2.20 to beat it which im sure i could do.
It was an excellent day, my dad said this was one of the best days he has ever ridden certainly better than the day he did 1.44.00 in 2000 and said that if michael hutchinson had been riding he would have easily beaten competition record possibly by 2 minutes.
but even so no matter how could the day a 1.42 takes some doing so
CONGRATULATIONS DAD ON A BRILLIANT RIDE!!!!!!!!!

PS well done with the apostrophes - I know they've been a struggle in the past

yes i have been working on it. This is how your sentence should have been correctly punctuated.

What on earth was the grammar like before!!??

I can only see 4 missing apostrophes, 14 missing capital letters, 2 missing fullstops and a 2 missing commas.
    Impeccable spelling though :-)

Whereas the missing full stop at the end of your signature and the nonsensical phrase "and a 2 missing commas" are doubtless intentional? That's before we debate the capitalisation of "earth" and the lazy use of quadruple punctuation marks rather than literary style to achieve emphasis...

Come on now fellas, you know how upset Tom gets when his records threads get taken off-topic.
