Thanks to Chief Comm Julia Gilbert for a quick turn around on the results.

Good weather and a lot of chasing kept the race together - a group of six looked promising on the 3rd lap, but never got more than about 10 seconds. James Fox and Ian Knight broke clear decisively on the 4th lap; Douglas Bradshaw bridged across to them for a short time, but dropped back to the bunch. The gap went out to 47 seconds before falling down to 26 seconds at the end. Ian took the 2-up sprint for the win, with James second. Douglas never said die, and held off the charging bunch by half a second in a late solo flier to round out the podium.

A big thank you to the volunteer helpers, officials and riders for making the race a success. Ike's widow Beryl was there to see the race this year, and enjoyed it immensely - thank you all for that.
