    6 started, we did try to keep things together, but a bit of wind and cold meant there were only three still together at the end. Owen took maximum points. Nice ride. Lights were only really necessary for the ride home after. Hope to see more of you next week.

    Did you follow the traditional route? I saw a small bunch of guys out training last night on my ride home and wondered if it was you lot.

    Yes. Until we switch to the 'Long' route.

    PS - Kingston 'Hill'? Really? A traffic calming bump. On a good day. Maybe.

    The group always gets smaller after Kingston so its pretty significant for some people....

    I've been told Ken wasn't half bad in a bunch race as well

    So much for my tactic of downplaying the Kingston drag... I'm well aware that's where the first selection is generally made on the short route.
