Default How the Club Forums work

All ERRL member clubs are entitled to their own club forum. How these forums are run is entirely up to the individual club. There are two extremes:

    1. Private - only registered and approved members can view and post
    2. Public - anyone, even anonymous users, can view and post.

There are any number of stages inbetween these two!

If you belong to a club that doesn't have a forum yet, and you want one, please send me a Private Message or an e-mail.

    Information for Usergroup Moderaters:

Your usergroup can be open, closed or hidden. I recommend that you have it as 'open'. This means that users can request to join the group. You then get to say yes or no, and only if you say yes will they be able to view private forums. If you set it to 'closed', then you have to manually add users to the group yourself.

It is worth noting too that website administrators maintain access to your club forum whatever privacy settings you opt for, and where they judge it appropriate they may post into your threads or make other interventions.

This can feel invasive if you had not been aware that they were "in the room", and feel you had not been warned of their presence in advance.
