    Default Chain Gang Carnage

Crash on tuesday, Was everyone ok once scraped off the road?

Quote (After being stopped cus of a small diesel spill on right hand side of road)

Police "You'll have to turn back"
Dan "Why we only use this side of road"
Police "Rules of the road, only pedestrians are allowed past"
Dan "So If we walk out bikes past then we are cool?"
    Police "Err yeah suppose"

    Cheers

There was a fair bit of carnage caused by Dan's legs as well.
Hope whoever crashed is OK. :?:

Anyone any thoughts on whether we should divide into two or three groups - I think 30 or 40 people is not very safe for such a ride on those roads.. We'll be needing a lead car next! And you don't get much of a workout cos you're hardly ever at the front.

Last year I thought there were two groups, one from Newnham corner and one from the layby on the A603?

Yes I think 20 is max per group for the reasons james stated. I'm also not a fan of people having tri bars on road bikes when out in a group, those things can cause awfull damage in a crash.

George, just having a solid training session, I drove home to london on tuesday so could burn a few more matches cus I didn't have to ride home to ely :-)

Since when are we waiting for people with flats and bits falling off there bikes????

Next week no waiting, its getting dark on the run in!!!

When does the Time change? When does the Short route kick in? At what point do we call it a day?

    Cheers
    Dan
