Resumption of events

On Monday 22 February the Prime Minister will be making an announcement on the Government’s roadmap out of the current lockdown, which we hope will give us a better understanding of when we are likely to be able to resume cycling activities and events.

At this time our team is continuing to support event organisers who are looking to reschedule events, and if you have any questions please do email us at events@britishcycling.org.uk.

Due to the work we did last year, through The Way Forward, we are in an excellent position to resume activities and events as soon as the restrictions allow. We know that this period has been frustrating for many of you, however we are working hard to ensure that our sport can recover from the challenges of the past 12 months and begin to welcome riders back to the start line.
Support for grassroots clubs

Our friends at the Sport and Recreation Alliance are looking to understand the impact of Covid-19 on grassroots sports clubs and participation through a new survey. The survey’s findings will inform their conversations with Government as they press for greater support for the sector over the months and years ahead.

If you are directly involved with a cycling club we would appreciate it if you could complete the survey by the deadline of Monday 22 February.
