You are invited to the launch of Project Excel

Join us to find out about this exciting new project, aimed at providing a training environment for riders aged 17-18.

Working in partnership with University Campus Suffolk, the launch evening will provide information about the project and importantly about the training weekends in February and April. This is an opportunity for riders to be coached and to further their cycle sport ambitions in road & time trial discipline.

All riders considered for the project must meet the following criteria:

1st & 2nd Year Junior category - Male
Must be able to ride in a group at 30-50 kmh (19-30mph)
Have an understanding, whilst riding in a group, of group etiquette and communication
Be a member of British Cycling (minimum silver membership)
Have a good physiological base
Reside in the Eastern region


Please note: Riders who are not part of a British Cycling Olympic programme will be considered for the project.

Launch Evening on 6th December 2011 - Time: 7.30-9.30pm
University Campus Suffolk, Waterside Building, Ipswich, IP4 1QJ.
