to Mark for winning £2 at the Grass Track today!

nah the real congratulations goes to NEIL CHAPMAN who got himself his first ever road race victory today! I don't know the precise details but I gather that after many failed attacks during the race by various riders, Neil attacked off the front at the foot of the final climb, and held an advantage on the bunch that took him to a great solo win! :D :D :D Comiserations to Stevie Saunders who was well placed in the bunch sprint before being brought down.

Meanwhile about 10 miles down the road, myself and Mark Beattie were racing the grass track at Bury St Edmunds. Between us we got a win in the 350m sprint, 1st & 2nd in the Win & Out, a third in the madison (only about a wheel-length from 2nd place though!) and an equal second in the team/olympic sprint.

See ya all at the '10' on tuesday then!

Congratulations Neil - I was under the impression that you had won a number of road races in a previous life (perhaps before 'the robster' was born) ???

Cheers,

Brett
