Training sessions start at Welwyn track this Thursday 6th and continue to 17th March, weather permitting, 8-9pm

Do you have any idea what the sessions involve?

Usually involves freezing your nuts off whilst getting cold air shoved down into your lungs. If the format is the same as it was 2 years ago. A steady ride in a large group single file rides around the top of the track (about 20 mph), when you get to the front you take a lap on the group, on your own or in groups. I think there is also a slower group that circulates the bottom of the track.

Went last night, was ok - riding steady around the top of the track chatting, 4 or 5 efforts of taking a lap, takes 3+ laps. Good turnout of riders 30+
