Pocket - ambitious is good.

I want a medal at the National Masters, to win a Vets race and do a good time for the Etape.

Away from racing I want to finish the Coaching Course.

Train and compete in a half ironman competition in the late summer.
Rinse my time in the Sprint trialthlons from last year
Aim for 22:45 around Brickendon...
I hear all the sniggers and the laughs and frankly I am not impressed!
I have however done an Abramovic and bought my way to sure success...
I have purchased a machine so fast that I am still trying to catch up with it at the moment - last seen wizzing towards Welwyn.
Not a drop of aluminium in sight, completely over the top and out of my league but I will LOOK THE DOGS DANGLY BITS - then promptly perform like that too!!!
So be warned - I am stronger than ever - thanks to digging up El Pres's garden all holiday - hugely lacking in cardio training but turbo sessions are eating into my belly daily, and determined to open a can of wupp ass at some stage this season - even if it on myself and last years times!
Aiming to win the Millenium series purely for doing most of the rides in it!!!
I obviously need to justify this bike now so better get on it I suppose - the bike that is...
Organise and finish the Tillf Bastogne this year - more info to follow shortly.
Actually ride on Fridays at Welwyn this year...
Not many then!
Beware the big brown bear for he cometh out of hibernation this year...

Well done Rusty.

Track, Track, Track - lets see more norff rowders riding the wall of death this year - I hear Heff is considering the A League for 2005.

I assumed not throwing up after the hill climb would be on your list. Although I admire the committment which leads to such an exhibition of poor stomach control, altering your pre race breakfast might reduce the likely hood and contents of such a performance.

That's no way to talk about Jim.
I'll be back. Maybe June.

One goal for all you fast boys. Do the Hardriders 6th March!! Go an avit large, let's see how good you really are. I'll be marshalling btw. And writing the cheques at the end.

Half Ironman?? What's all this swimming and running nonsence. There is only one sport and it's on two wheels . You will only be as good as me if you copy my total dedication to cycling.
What does 'rinse my time' mean? Is this one of those phrases from one of you young'un's or are you planning to soil your shorts half way round?

I reckon you could do 22.45 btw. But only if you get down to Trev's weight.

Down to Trevor's weight??? Unless he has shed his skin and half his bones with it, I still think I am below - albeit maybe fractionally - tell you what Badge, lift us both up and see for yourself! 8)
Bravado is of course a great thing - especially when you all eat into my words with gusto! I am about as quick as a stunned sloth at the moment with the staying power of a tory leader.
Call me what you will - sticks and stones etc. I am shameless and will buy seconds whenever I can get them...
Will give you my bar dimensions big un' so you can purchase me those nice lights - very kind of you.
Badge I am ordering you some arm bands so you can join me in the pool and anyone who feels that Tri is for the ladies amongst us - come and join me in Stratford in May and i will kick your ass!!!!
Bish, sorry about today at the triangle but school governor stuff had put paid to my pain this particular morning - but next week should see the shy and retiring bear out for the first time in ages.
Hope you had a good one today.

Just for your info Badge and to keep you up to date with the lingo being used by the youth of today:
To rinse something means to beat it by a long way - also used as a gerund too - "rinsing" - means something is great. Therefore in conclusion to rinse my time does not mean to soil myself halfway round, merely to seriously beat my previous pb!

Au contraire Mr Brown I consider triathletes to be the fittest of the fit. I even conisdered doing some but cycling makes me knackered enough already.
I am saying that if you want be as good as you say you'll need to give your soul to the bike like what we have.

I didn't make it to the triangle, at last minute decided to get road bike filthy instead, met Sam The Eagle & friends at Therfield for a gentle ride back.

See you next week, get some miles in before the reliability trials.
