Have you made any yet?

Why aren't you dishing them out on a saturday morning?

quote from the end of a Fanny Craddock programme (1960's cooking programme George):

.......and if you want your doughnuts to look like Fanny's, here's the recipe.

Me thinks Mrs Bish has been cooking with the aluminium pans again.

I have made bars like these in the past - the sesame seeds leave an after taste in your mouth for longer than a strong curry. Ddidn't get to try them in competition, the kids devoured the lot.

champions and me! Tesco don't do the value ones any more, the posh ones are drier. Roger's Brother has slices with honey but that's a bit up market.

Welcome Mr Boxter, look forward to seeing you up the road.

(thought your user name would be something on the lines of HG - Hg - Mercury - Winged Messenger, but I know you like your mota)

I rekon a sunmalt loaf with honey is about 600kcals which is a good pre race meal with a drink and perhaps a banana and a cup of sweet coffee and an energy bar and some jelly babies. I eat it before as the honey makes a mess of ones jersey and I can't take my hands off bars to bang them in frustration at missing out in sprint again :)
