Maldon Road Races: 9th April: Entry fee revised to £14 (£16 EOL). Initial entry fee due to proposed police charges which have now been withdrawn. Those who have already paid will be remibursed at signing on.

Had kinda guessed it was the police who hiked the prices. Still a good event so didn't grudge paying the fee.
Don't worry. You'll still get the reimbursed £3 through the extra tea and cakes i'll eat afterwards.
Make sure your tea lady is prepared for the rush!!!
