For anyone who is interest there is a track training session at Calshot track on Saturday 4 Dec from 1-5 pm. This is being organised by the Southborough & District Wheelers and there will be space as only about 8 are confirmed going.
I spent Saturday there and I wasn't the only Norf roader as Shaun N was also there. It is only about a 2 hr drive from WGC. Good session plenty of variety and good amount of track time. Cost is about £10-15 depending on how many.
Recommended gearing is between 82-84" and there are bikes for hire too. You will need your thermal gear as the track is in an unheated hanger and a very warm jacket for in between sessions, overshoes, full gloves etc.
Aim to arrive at 12.30 ish
Let me know if you want to come down and I'll let the organiser know.

How did you get on?
First time I've been there, like the track but going round the bends at speed takes a bit of getting used to, especially when doing a flying lap. Haven't lost my speed though under 10.5 secs for the lap!!

Won the first event in the best possible style, went from the back of the field over everyone in 4 laps, got many comments from shocked people who couldn't believe hoq quick i wnt. I would like to go for a 1 lap TT to see what i could do i'm def built for that track being a short ass and having a low center of gravity

Brilliant, well done George. What happened in the rest of the races, were you a marked man?

I was marked but the lack of intensity training showed as I lost my legs after such an effort I got a 3rd and a few 4ths as well
